• Position A for powder detergent (factory setting).

• Position B for liquid detergent.

When you use the liquid detergent:

– Do not use gelatinous or thick liquid detergents.

– Do not put more liquid then the maximum level.

– Do not set the prewash phase.

– Do not set the delay start.

Activating the appliance

Press Ein/Aus - Marche/Arrêt to activate or

deactivate the appliance. A tune sounds

when the appliance is activated.

Setting a programme

1.

Turn the programme knob and set the

programme:

• The indicator Start/Pause - Départ/

Pause flashes.

• The display shows the programme

duration.

2. If necessary, change the temperature,

the spin speed, the cycle duration, or

add available options. When you acti-

vate an option, the indicator of the set

option comes on.

If you set something incorrect, the dis-

play shows the message Err.

Starting a programme without

delay start

Press Start/Pause - Départ/Pause:

• The indicator Start/Pause - Départ/Pause

stops to flash and stays on.

• The programme starts, the door is locked

and the display shows the indicator

.

• The drain pump can operate for a short

time when the appliance fills water.

After approximately 15 minutes from

the start of the programme:

• The appliance adjusts automatically

the programme duration agree with

the laundry load.

• The display shows the new value.

Starting a programme with

delay start

• Press Zeitvorwahl - Départ Différé again

and again until the display shows the de-

lay you want to set.

• Press Start/Pause - Départ/Pause:

– The appliance starts the countdown.

– When the countdown is completed,

the programme starts automatically.

You can cancel or change the set of

the delay start before you press Start/

Pause - Départ/Pause.

To cancel the delay start:

1.

Press Start/Pause - Départ/Pause to

set the appliance to pause.

2. Press Zeitvorwahl - Départ Différé until

the display shows

Press Start/Pause - Départ/Pause

again to start the programme immedi-

ately.

Interrupting a programme and

changing the options

You can change only some options before

they operate.

1. Press Start/Pause - Départ/Pause. The

indicator flashes.

2.

Change the options.

3.

Press Start/Pause - Départ/Pause

again. The programme continues.

Cancel a programme

1.

Turn the programme knob to

to

cancel the programme.

2.

Turn again the programme knob to a

new washing programme. At this time

you can also set the available functions.

The appliance does not drain the wa-

ter.

Opening the door

While a programme or the delay start oper-

ates, the appliance door is locked and the

display shows the indicator

.

Caution! If the temperature and level

of the water in the drum are too high,

you cannot open the door.
